Reno, Nev.-Anderson hasn't lost a game in two years on the diamond and is considered one of the most dominating baseball players in the state of Nevada. With a career record of 24-1, Anderson was a key to getting the football and baseball team Northern Nevada title as the school made an almost impossible sweep of the North titles in all three major boys sport.
For Anderson, he has struck out 160 batters in the last two seasons and becomes the team true ace as a senior with the graduation of two other star pitchers from last season. He has a 2.10 (2006) and 2.41 (2007) ERA over the last few season and has been an off-season star in the baseball camps. He is also an expected Major League Baseball prospect that could be picked in the top 15 rounds as an amateur.
On the football field so far this season, Anderson has passed for 1141 yards so far this year to rank #2 in the category with 10 touchdowns completing 54% of his passes. He has the Grizzlies undefeated with a major showdown with McQueen looming that will be the key to Galena winning the High Desert regular season title, as he has gotten stronger and stronger behind center this season.
